Export Totes are disposable, recyclable, and ideal for shipping valuable liquids aboard container ships. As an excellent replacement for drums, Export Totes are designed to fully utilize your freight dollar by fitting efficiently in a 20 foot shipping container. Carrying up to 330 gallons of liquid, one tote can do the job of up to six drums, reducing the time and labor required for filling, emptying, and handling multiple totes.
The cubic shape of J Hill Container's™ totes allow up to 25% more product volume than drums in the same amount of space! For example, a 20-foot shipping container will carry 1,100 gallons more product by way of utilizing space more effectivly: 20 export totes (275-gallon capacity) compared to 80 drums (55 gallon capacity).
Like a traditional bag-in-box and assembled at the filling location, Export IBC Totes are shipped knocked down flat. Which saves about 80% of trailer and warehouse space required for some rigid IBCs or drums. Shipping empty tote sleeves around the globe is also cost effective with a 40-foot export container carrying up to 288 tote sleeves. Totes can be set up by one person in just one minute. Engineered to bring sustainability into your bulk packaging program, the sleeve is composed of renewable fiber, 100% of which is sourced through the Sustainable Forestry Initiative® (SFI®) certified procurement system.
